by Jason D. on Wow. I'm gonna get cheesy and say that I can definitely "shout" about Shout and in a good way. I've had friends tell me forever to check this place out, and so the day I was chillin downtown with my buddy and we were hungry. We walked by Shout and turned in the door and history was made. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the exquisite foods and wines. I've been to so many places where the servers will fake like they know something about wines just to add more money to their tips. Shout has some pro's. Very cool and modern decor that shows elegance but also laid back enough to where you can bring a bunch of friends and throw down the shots. Great location. Great time. Sushi is also super fresh and their take on sushi is very cool and original!!
by brad C. on Went to a med student party here last week (i.e. lame, i know). We had a nice tab running, and the waitress took care of us by bringing tons of food and drinks to our overcrowded table. The drinks were stiff, as my tanqueray pour got me my money's worth. The food was alright. Good selection of standard pub fare and decent desserts. Extra points for the calamari. by Marvel Ruhoff on I know a man that knows just about everyone in Atlanta in some way. What started out as a very chill night, (I say chill as me in skinny jeans a crazy logo shirt and beach sandals.) My get me the 'hook up' friend mentions taking the party to Halo (Girls usually can get by at clubs wearing whatever but beach sandals???) . We take the 30 steps from Cypress and My get me the 'hook up' friend walks up to the door at Halo slapping hands saying 'wut up' to everyone and gets us in, my neon yellow sandals and all. I enjoyed Halo. Drinks are reasonably priced. The environment is very relaxed. I'm not much of a techno/house music girl but I actually enjoyed the music the DJ was spinning this particular night. Will Halo become my new Sutra (guaranteed to have a good time place?), Possibly!
