I would definitely come back here over any of the "Mexican" places around midtown Atlanta. The tacos here are big, full of flavor and meat and just all together very good. Plus, they have an awesome grilled fish taco! My friends said the food here was overseasoned. Well. If it is thats how I like it. Defintely come and get the fish taco and the chorizo taco. the pulled pork taco was just average in my opinion

I really like this place. I'm a fan of burgers in general and have tried some of the LA greats. I've been to Father's Office (Santa Monica), Hungry Cat (Hollywood), Burger Bar (Vegas), and countless other local joints. This place is almost as good as the best. I like the FO style of burger (the Delux), especially the way the cheese is incorporated into the patty. The slightly peppery arugula, the demi-baguette goes well, the smoky onion marmalade (although I order carmelized onion on the side as I don't eat bacon). The beef has some real flavor to it (aged?), and is seasoned well. Nice balanced saltyness, and savory throughout. The only problem I've ever really had with Delux is that often my burger is not cooked as I'd like. I have had to return one too many burgers for being overcooked. When they are cooked beyond medium rare they get quite greasy, and the bun gets soggy. This does not make for a good burger eating experience. I usually order with the warning that the burger will be returned if not cooked as I like upfront as to not cause too much of a fuss. The fries are nice, but nothing special. The sweet potato option being preferred w/ aioli. I've heard the other sandwiches are quite nice, but never really explored the menu outside of the Delux burger. The atmosphere is nice, bit of wait, but to be expected. Parking can be a bit of a challenge on Fri/Sat. Beer selection is great, service is good. Minus one star for the mystery beef (Niman Ranch or not?) and the kitchen inconsistencies. When they get it right, it's the best I've had in town. Worth a visit for sure.

I'm usually at Sky for a DJ show but lately there hasn't been anyone coming through... This is THE venue to come see big name DJs and a number of talented locals spin. If you're big into electronica/house this is also the place for you. Don't come here if you're looking for mainstream hip-hop -try 6th street for that. I love to dance but I don't really care for their dance floor that much. It gets insanely crowded when there is a very popular DJ in town. Depending on who is it, it can start getting terribly packed at around 11-12ish. The decor is pretty much the generic modern stuff you find at any 'trendy' bar/club. There is a second floor but that usually open for special/private events or if they are hosting two DJs at once. I've only been up there once and that was for Kenneth Thomas. I personally like the second floor over the first since you can breathe even when its crowded. However the sound is a whole lot better on the first floor. If you're coming to see a DJ, I would recommend buying your ticket in advance so you don't have to pay the $5 they tack on at the door. You can find them here: http://groovetickets.com -- do a search for the DJ or Sky. Tickets are usually $5-20 depending on who is spinning that night. Shows are usually Saturday night.
