we came here for a friend's bday celebration. it was at first disappointing because i'm not a big fan of going to chain restaurants in Austin, but i definitely did not leave disappointed. so they have a classic menu that allows you to pick from a list of classic italian entrees for dinner and then they send you with another pick from the list for home...apparently thats the italian way to have dinner...I LOVE IT. each dish is about $12.95 so you get two full meals for 12.95. well worth it... here's what we did...actually we did a lot more but these are the ones that i got a taste of: prosecco lunetta - its bubbly sweet white wine and only $28 for a bottle. cheapest bottle on the menu but delightful none the less. angel hair pasta and sausage - i had this dish as my to-go and even reheated it was good, if you like sausage. its served in a tomato sauce and is very well seasoned...just dont wear white. gnocchi - wasnt too bad. actually better than most gnocchi i've had in texas. served in a tomato cream sauce. fettuccini - was pretty basic and as expected, it kind of dried out towards the end of the meal and the sauce was no longer creamy. spaghetti and meatballs - typical and good. served with one very large meatball on top. lots of room for jokes, which did occur... linguini de mare - the waiter sold us on this dish. it has all the right ingredients for being wonderful. seafood on top of linguini. its yummy. try this. calamari - the waiter told us he would pay out of his own pocket if we didnt like it...we tried not like it but its yummy. they soak it overnight in skim milk and falsh fry it in batter so that it doesnt get chewy...definitely a table favorite.

Wow...... I was speechless when I first walked in. I have never seen a building so amazing in my life! The intricate molding and details had me intoxicated. I went here to see Cake, blast from the past yeah? It was funny to sit and watch everyone walk into the main theatre, and see the heads go up down and all around. It is almost too much to take in with only two eyes!! And to be in the same room that Judy Garland performed in, wow, it was breathtaking for me The sounds were great too, great acoustics and shit I have been dying to go back, I will go see anything just to be back in time!
