by Jax S. on A few friends and I decided to do a nice dinner/date night including sushi. When I was looking for a place on rateclubs, BarChi only had 23 reviews but all were good. When we arrived we were the only patrons in the whole place and no one else came in for the rest of out dinner.:( The sushi was very good and we received a complimentary bottle of pineapple infused saki which was amazing. We were also told their Sunday brunch Bloody Mary's are made with pepper infused saki. I try to go to this place regularly as the service, sushi, and prices are great. However, I am afraid even though it's only been open for 3 months that if they don't get more business they might have to close. :( Happy Sushi hunting, rateclubsers!
by John E. on Wow is this place mediocre. The food is OK (portions seem adequate but some of the flavors seemed a bit off to me) but the bar-like atmosphere is really disappointing, as it is noisy. With so many other Greek and Persian selections in Atlanta why in the world would anyone actually eat here? Could it be all the over-the-top marble, the mirrors and masculine fixtures? For a disco, maybe, but for a dining experience? Not my cup of tea.
