by Alexa Z. on I just need to go. I just need to dance. For a good place to dance it out, check out the Mezzanine. The guys there all seemed to be in couples, so grab your ladies for a night out on the town. Coat Check near the door which was super easy and convenient - you don't have to plan an outfit around the possibility of lugging a jacket about the dance floor. Bar upstairs, before the mens room and by the DJ. Small cups, but not too costly. $6-7 for gin-tonic or kamikaze. $11 for L.I.'s (long islands). Careful in the bathroom line - there's a gap between the men and women's which makes it a little too convenient for guys to stick their hand through to get a booty-grab. You've been warned. Screw guys - I GOTTA DANCE.
by Melissa F. on Continental Midtown is definitely one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. I've been to the one in Old City, as well as the one in Atlantic City, but this one is the best. Sure it's got a somewhat cheesy atmosphere, but I really enjoy it. I've been there for every possible meal time. Brunch is my favorite though. I've never had a problem with the service and I like the uniforms. It makes it seem like it probably isn't as awful to work there as other restaurants of similar quality. I'm not too into crowds, so I didn't love it during the Friday/Saturday night party time. Also the hanging chairs are kind of annoying so, as fun as they seem, I would recommend sitting at a "normal" table. The two way mirror in the bathroom is also kind of odd. I would recommend the string fries and the breakfast quesadilla.
