If hungry while there, the food is good (especially the Lobster Mac & Cheese) but there are a TON of better places to eat in Philly if you're looking for a sit-down meal.

by Gina C. on I came here tonight bc it was 25% off your entire meal. My friend and I ordered app, entree, and dessert and we split the bill in half which came out to $22 per person. We also ordered an extra side and he ordered a tea. Thanks Michael E. for letting us know about this! As an app we ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes that everyone rant and raved about. To me they were eh, not too bad, but not the best I've had. It had entirely too much breading on it. I like them lightly breaded where you can see and taste the tomato. For the entree I ordered the Shrimp and Scallops with Grits. It is your average shrimp, scallops, and grits meal. I know I should of ordered the Fried Chicken! My friend ordered the Fried Catfish. It was the whole fish w/o the head. He said it was okay as well. We also ordered a side of collards which weren't too good. We should of ordered the mac and cheese. The banana pudding for dessert was the best part of the meal! It was the only course we licked clean! Well, maybe it was more of my doing than my friend's. It's got to be one of the best I've ever tasted. It's almost as good as the one I make! ;) I don't think I'll be coming back here unless there is another promotion. Even then, I'll have to think about it.
