by Princeton A. on I was just reading all the reviews and its extremely funny what many of you had to write. I was one of the promoters that did the grand opening of this spot. We had the the birthday party for owner of the Lakers' son. I think Lamar Odom dropped $10k at the bar that night. I don't like large clubs much but I think the concept for this club is awesome. I still secretly promote Fridays at this spot. The concept of logical lines does not exist much in Hollywood so you will have to negotiate your way through the mob to get to the door guy who will probably ignore you unless you are stunning and flashing some skin or unless you give him a golden handshake. As much as people hate Hollywood club promoters, at MyHouse you will need a promoter in order to get in within 10 minutes otherwise you will be in line for a good hour. Yes, this venue is well past its prime however, the not so snobby, shallow and pretentious crowd will go back because when the party gets going you wont find a better atmosphere. New clubs opens in Hollywood all the time. by Sandra W. on Hi Manor West, Thanks for being a jackass at guestlist when I stood in line for 30 min in the same exact spot just 8 ft away from the podium, then charging me full price to get in when it was clearly still before guestlist. But anyhoo, thanks for a moderately good time of hip hop music and overcharged drinks, as the usual club scenes portray. I'll see you again the next time I want to throw glasses on the floor and make hazardous conditions to be cleaned up. Sincerely, Former Sat nigh club goer. P.S. Aside from the over sarcastic note, I always have a great time with my friends here and the layout is much better the Boss. I'll probably go again if forced to another birthday shenanigan.
by Alvaro Arrison on Horrible. The men working the door were soooo ruthless. Once we got on the line it felt like Studio 54. They were bias. I dont get it. People travel far distances to have a good time when some jerk bouncer doesnt let them in. Me and two other girls were dressed very nice. Plain in simple he said me and my friend could come in if the chubby girl leaves.
