This place has the best music i heard at a bar/lounger. The place is real small and it gets real crowded but thats how good bars get. The drinks are great they have two full bars and great deals on the drinks.

I would rate this place 3.5 for the rooftop seating on a beautiful day in SF. It's much nicer than at night. You can see the the buildings of downtown and the crowd and ambiance reminded me of how I'd like to spend my perfect summer day. WAIT...I'll stop wishing I sat up there with all them because my table of 12 ended up dining inside which was nice as well, but definitely not the same. Food came out at a good pace and I understand they are small plates, but for the price (some were $15-20), it was expensive. Don't expect to be full; expect to enjoy the experience and share many plates. I really enjoyed the fish dish the most. The rest were okay. I do not recommend the bruschetta- definitely not worth it. What was nice was that my sis and I received complimentary champagne for our birthdays. What was not so pleasant was that a few hours before the dinner, a friend informed my sis that there was an event tonight at Medjool- Lesbian film festival after party of some sort which cost $ to get in. NOTE: I don't mind lesbians, but for two single, straight females to party with lesbians on our birthdays?...I want me some men okaaay. Ha my sis was willing to check it out but I wasn't having it with her reaction of "it could be fun".

This place fit me like Cinderella's slipper fit that damn Disney princess. Between the cheap beer that just kept coming, the jukebox that played songs I haven't heard in years and the heart-attack inducing french fries, I was in love from the moment I walked through the door. Of course, it probably didn't hurt that iI was with a group of about 10 of my awesome rateclubs friends, but hot damn, it was a glorious party. The waitress called us "honey" (I'm a sucker for that) and it got louder and louder the later it got. Oh, and it was only Tuesday. Now if that isn't a ringing endorsement for a dive bar, then I don't know what is. Just remember that when you wake up the next morning with your new gang name written on your inner thigh in sharpie. Oscar's is totally my new crush.
