I have eaten here maybe four times. I don't even know what to say about this place other than it is spot on. Atmosphere is modern and chic. Service from the hostess who greets you, to the bartender upstairs, to the server is all simply excellent. Food is always stellar. We have done the omakase tastings as well as ordered all types of things from the regular menu and nothing has ever fallen short. I really have nothing to say other than it is the best japanese restaurant I have ever been to.

This place has been consistently good to me so now I'll return the favor. Yes, there is a slide and no there are no signs by at the door that tells you it's "Slide". It's the line going the other way right next to Ruby Skye. I've never been down that slide because they won't let you do it if you have extreme heels or dresses on. The bouncers have been really nice and it's always been no wait no cover for my friends. Drinks are standard SF prices and they actually make pretty good drinks here! There are always at least 4 bartenders there to serve everyone needs so you don't have to worry about waiting forever to get someones attention. This is a perfect little place to dance the night away if you don't like the whole club scene. (Ruby Skye)

Not impressed. Loud, noisy, and the food was just mediocre. The waitress was not suited for a more expensive establishment. We were seated in a small room that was hosting a party. We ended up in the corner like children at the Kid's Table on Thanksgiving. 2 glasses of blah wine (their wine list is not extensive), 2 appetizers, $70. No thanks!
