by Jasi B. on Yes the service really does suck. Even when you have a "VIP" table next to Jill Newman, who books the shows here. The waitress just had a god awful attitude. Depending on who you see it's give or take, the spot is small and there aren't too many all around good views in the spot. I didn't eat anything and the sip of my friends cocktail that I had was definitely not good. $14 for well drinks?? Even if you stick a cinnamon stick in it...still tastes piss poor.
by Lien Binkowski on I went there recently for the first time on Thursday night, their 1984 night. I haven't enjoyed myself this much at a club in a long time. The music was great, they even played A-Ha! The crowd is very mixed: straight ppl, gay ppl, transvestites, young, old, etc. Everyone is just there to relive the 80's and dance like crazy. I danced for 3 hours straight. Next time, I will dress up like Madonna circa 1985!
by Martin G. on After going to Nikki Beach in Miami and St Barths, I had pretty high hopes when the New York outpost opened a few months ago. Booked a reservation for dinner at 8:00. When we showed up, the place was completely empty except for one other table and a funny couple making out on a couch. Appetizers and drinks were good but our main courses were nothing special. We then met another friend and started hanging out at the front bar. Around 10:00 people started streaming in and the music started getting loud... it became apparent that Nikki in New York is a dance club first and a restaurant second. When my friends and I went to the front bar, the girls ordered a margarita and some strawberry drink (you'll know it when you see it) that was one of the best drinks any of us have ever tried. Overall, a good experience to have once.
