Horrible food; horrible service; Sushi was stale tasting; they tack on 18% gratuity for anything and everything that you order, even if you are ordering drinks only at the bar. Never going back.

to all that bash on suede being either a predominantly asian crowd or the feel is weird. suede is actually one of the biggest clubs in san francisco and most sought after spot for promoters and party throwers. I worked for suede as a previous bouncer and suede really stepped their game up. i must say that all the bouncers are nice compared to other shitty bouncers in other clubs. i laugh at people who complain at $10 cover charge. be thankful because lounges NOT CLUBS charge $20 cover charge. good luck dancing in lounges. becareful not to elbow that chick. Suede is a nice spot with two levels to choose from and most of the time are spinning different tunes in each room. you got to really check out the VIP section. something out of the quentin tarantino movie. plush seating and a private bar of your own. and yes the drinks are strong. IKNOW..lol but then know you got what you paid for than other clubs that water down their drinks so that you drink some more. oh by the way. alot of lounges do water down their drinks because their venue is small so they have to make sure to keep you coming at the bar so they can pay their property rent fee at the end of the month. but suede gives you what you paid for. Drink, good music and a good time. like my man jonathan said. it's the promoters who throws the party at the venue. the venue being suede. so do not fault suede because you didn't like the party. find out the promotions crew who threw that party and bashthem instead. i would. if suede was as bad as everyone claims it to be. then why has suede lasted this long. because they still have nice and good crowd going there. that is the reason you keep coming back. drive down there onthe 19th of july and ask for me. ill be tehre since im a promoter hosting a party there. all ill show you a good time at suede.

After going to Nikki Beach in Miami and St Barths, I had pretty high hopes when the New York outpost opened a few months ago. Booked a reservation for dinner at 8:00. When we showed up, the place was completely empty except for one other table and a funny couple making out on a couch. Appetizers and drinks were good but our main courses were nothing special. We then met another friend and started hanging out at the front bar. Around 10:00 people started streaming in and the music started getting loud... it became apparent that Nikki in New York is a dance club first and a restaurant second. When my friends and I went to the front bar, the girls ordered a margarita and some strawberry drink (you'll know it when you see it) that was one of the best drinks any of us have ever tried. Overall, a good experience to have once.
