by April L. on I agree with mark A.. the restaurant is Getting a bad rep because of the nightclub it turns into afterwards. The food is very good and I love eating a little bit of everything so the tapas were right up my alley. Yes.. doucheville upstairs on the rooftop when the lights dim and the music starts... I was disappointed that this kind of 'who's who' venue popped up in the mission.
by Gay Winebarger on This place is definitely not my scene..... I'm more of a CosmoLava or MJQ type of person. ATMOSPHERE: EA reminds me of a big frat party. It had the high school feel.... The crowd is casually dressed - flip flops, shorts, etc. Downstairs area is more bar atmosphere - no dancing while the upstairs area is more of a dance club atmosphere. I hear there's cover to go upstairs but I think they stopped charging cover by the time we tried to go upstairs. I had fun upstairs and got a good work out. MUSIC: Diverse, top 40's (hip-hop, pop, etc), rock/80's COVER: We got in for free and didn't have to sign up for a guest list or anything, which is nice for a change. Not sure if that's the norm. CONCLUSION: I will NOT be back.
by Rachel R. on This place is absolute BS. We came here for a birthday party and they only let the girls in and kept our guy friends outside in the cold... ps. The birthday party was for an 18 year old. GO FIGURE.
