The bubble lounge is wanna- be LA vibe lounge that has long lines that pretend to make it look packed but actually it's empty! The  downstairs is a sweat box and has no ventilation! The bouncers are ridiculous and take their jobs way to serious for a minimum wage salary, that's probably why you can pay the bouncer on the side to get in. The dress code is way to formal for a casual-sometimes ghetto crowd. the drinks are overpriced for watered down drinks! All in all waist your money somewhere else...

I was transported back in time to 1982 and a few other years.  I didn't wear any leg warmers, but I still felt very at-home in the 30-something crowd.   I went with a group of friends and really hammed it up in the 'dance cage' and drinking lots of cocktails. I enjoyed the 2 rooms and the fun atmosphere - one for the 80's pop tunes, and the other 'alternative' back room - both synced to videos and the DJ. If you are stuck in the 80's or just enjoy a flashback now and then, hit the Cat Club on Thursday and enjoy the night.

Even though we were on the list, the promoter was super nasty. We were two guys and two girls. He looked the girls up and down like meat. (common activity but truly demeaning and could have been less obvious). We got in a few minutes after and the bouncers that greeted us were the nicest people EVER. They kept offering to take pictures and show us around. when we got downstairs, it wasnt packed at all. There was a table of at least 14 busted girls with one bottle. Talk about a waste. For such a strict door, the people werent merely as good looking as I expected them to be. By 1 the place was mobbed! EVERYONE WAS SO STIFF AND THERE WAS BARELY ANY DANCING AT ALL?!? I guess everyone was all caught up in being "too cool". The bartenders were very chatty and quick. Glad i got to see what the place was about... but I'll take my business elsewhere.
