by Randal Damrell on This place is dingy! Maybe one day long ago it was a good club. I can see its potential. It has three floors and an outdoor patio but the decor was horrible. It feels as if it is falling apart. Old, dark, and musty. The first floor/lounge area you enter plays hip hop or something like it and was kinda danceable but did not play any really good music. The main floor played trance I suppose which I am not at all into. The inside floor was actually the nicest space but also played eh music. The patio was better than the inside in terms of space and decor but too many smokers. Cranberry Vodka cost me $10.
by a.v. n. on This place has a lot of Asians and white dudes dating Asian girls. Nothing wrong w/the demographic, I'm just sayin'. It did feel like more of an under 25 crowd though, so if you're pushing the 30-somethings, you might feel a little old. A friend from NJ took me here when I was in the City, and it was fun to experience a little NYC nightlife. The music was so-so, but it was fun watching people from the balcony area upstairs. Other than that, it's not a bad place to come if you wanna get your swerve on on a Fri/Sat night. I have no idea what the banana hammock reviews are about, but I'm glad we didn't go that night.
by charlotte s. on the one star goes to the attractive girls that were dancing on the bartop at the beginning of the night... well it was more like a runway than dancing i guess... the rest was lame. was dragged here for a friend's birthday a few years ago and i never went back or wanted to... or wanted to go in the first place.. another overcrowded place where the bouncers act like dicks and most people there are too cool... the music sucked too... i forced myself to dance for 10 minutes and then i found a spot to sit down and waited for my friends until they were ready to leave... i sorta became their 'coat check'
