Good sound system and excellent house music. This place is the Phoenix version of Cheers! Stop in and play a round of pool or shoot the breeze with the locals.

by Lonny Paxton on I've stayed at this place twice, the 1st time in '03 or '04 when they hosted the Wet Parties and did not have the re-model yet... the 2nd time was just this past weekend. They don't host the Wet Parties anymore, but the revamp is beautiful- very glamorous, comfortable and modern with large spacious rooms, some of them with a mini walk-in closet and all with nice amenities including including diva bath products. Don't even get me started on their pool area here- yes it's a scene on the weekends, but as long as you're staying there and get a hall pass you won't run into any problems. True drinks & food are pricey, but that comes with the territory. In my opinion, rooms can be a great deal (we scored $149 for each room!) especially compared to the $400-$500/nite we were quoted for an equally nice hotel on Sunset. Highly recommended... can't wait to return and most likely will take my boyfriend here in the Spring time for his b-day.
