Definitely the best thing to happen to Dot in the past 10-years & the outdoor patio is outstanding. Food portions are not a good value though, easpecially at brunch, and the Executive Chef is arrogant and slow.

There are 2 reasons why the place doesn't get 5 stars: 1. No pictures allowed. 2. Dancing to the music makes you seem lame here. The place is one of the coolest places I've ever been to in Hollywood. The door is super discreet. I remember coming out of the Cabana Club once and asked the bouncer what was behind the ropes. "The Green Door," he replied. It was also 1:40am and he said the place wasn't allowing more people in, and to come back another night. We did and were walked in by a promoter after about 10 minutes. To us girls, 10 minutes seemed a bit long, but it was worth it. The hidden venue is really impressive. It's got classy decorations and furnitures and is larger than one would expect by just looking at the door. The crowd was also great, great looking, but definitely hard to see since it is really dark inside. My girlfriend and I managed to take a few pictures of ourselves before someone warning us that if another flash goes off, they are confiscating the camera. No joke. We danced to the music, while 3 or 4 people joined in...then got over it as most of the crowd were maturely sipping on drinks, chatting, or swaying their upper bodies in their own little group. Even then, I was still in awe of the place we had managed to get into. The only reason why we left? We wanted to use the Cabana Club bathroom because the girls' line at the Green Door was moving too slowly. It was a smart move. We got into the Green Door, which meant that we walked straight into the Cabana Club, free of charge, and used their bathroom. Thank you, Cabana Club.
