by Leo O. on Used to be Buddha Bar. Chef Hung works here. Spicy Maya shrimp is very good. The ambiance is excellent. But if I had to compare this to Buddakan, Buddakan would be 5 stars and this would be 3. It is more for a date place. So food is just okay.
by Lauralee Dvorsky on When I go out ... I usually select by WHO is throwing the venue, so luckily I have chosen really GREAT venues here at Minna... So I can't complain about the music or the scene because I tend to come here for Hip Hop performances or specific DJs that spin the kind of music that I LIKE... So two thumbs up just based on that... I don't see anything wrong with Minna having a dual or triple purpose... It's clean, a great vibe, and a good environment... I've never had problems with the bartenders... in fact my girl Monica, has a favorite bartender who always gives her free shots, and I've always had ample alcohol in my Vodka Redbulls... This place is spacious, smoking section is outdoors rather than in a shabbily ventilated patio, two dancefloors always helps when you don't like the music in the other room, there is rarely ever a dress code at the venues that I attend here... but oh there's usually no "in's and out's"...
