by Heather M. on The Edison is one of the best places I have ever been. I have only been there once, but it left a lasting impressoin on me. We got there before 10 and did not have to wait in any line. Place was not croweded and we were greeted quickly by a server asking if we wanted to have a table. She put us at an amazing table next to the bar. Server was super nice. GUYS NO SNEAKERS!!! I orinally ordered the Absinthe '76 drink- not good to me. I took it back to the bar, no questions asked he took it right off of our bill and let me have something else. The Mistress Nourveaux drink- VERY GOOD! Highly recommend that drink. Also, the french fries- had a spicy kick to them...really good! If what you want is flapper dresses, a fairy passing around shots, '20's movies up on the walls, wooden floors, and really good music... come to this place!
by Sarah May B. on I didn't pay the bill so I can't say if it's worth the price, but as far as Ktown private rooms go, these are pretty good ones. My only complaint was the "sweet potato fries" are finely shredded regular potato fries covered with sugar, (which is not unusual in ktown). It was more the amount of sugar. Like more sugar than potato. Maybe eat kbbq before hand and skip the snacks-- Oh, and song list is missing a lot of the staples. There was no "Don't you want me baby", no "Cruisin", and no "And then he kissed me" by the Crystals.
by Coralee Augusta on I have been to South City upwards of 20 times. I have yet to have a bad experience. Everything I have tried has been great and their drink menu is always fun to try!
