by SD L. on I was at this hotel for a meeting. Quote from one of the attendees "We are not hip enough for this hotel." Too true. To be positive, the staff was excellent and the rooms were comfortable. Nothing at all about our stay. But....the rooms we DARK - tomb-like to quote another attendee. The walls are painted dark dark dark brown. I turned on every light in the room, and I STILL couldn't find a place light enough to read. There was loud music (uncomfortably loud) in the elevators, restrooms and waiting areas. There were no coffee makers in the rooms. One participant called in the morning to get one, was told 'oh come down to the lobby' which meant way too expensive coffee. Then they asked if she wanted a pot of coffee ($25.00). Then she finally explained she wanted a coffee pot. They told her 'those are in demand....may not be available.' No kidding. She got one ,but only one sad little coffee pod. Not refilled during the rest of our stay. The drinks in the bar were outrageously expensive. We saw a lot of guests coming in with coolers or shopping bags. Overall a comfortable place but I was glad to be on an expense account.
by Melvin Pentland on I love this place, warm, great DJs , beautiful ladies. Every 3rd wednesdat they have a party with art display and go-go dancers, last time was great !!!
by Kirsten J. on It's a cheap club, and perfect for the 18+ crowd, as there aren't many who let in under 21. However, if you *are* 21 or over, you're in free. Not bad. There's a hip-hop floor and a techno floor, and, yes, even a cage to dance in. The people who come here aren't the classiest (hey, they're probably looking to find a cute 18 year old fresh outta high school) so I wouldn't go here for a girl's night out.
