Saw Harlow Gold for a birthday and was very impressed. I love that its hidden untouched by ed hardy douche bags. The red walls and lights and black chandeliers make it that much more intriguing. Dancers were amazing!!!!!!!!,,.My friends and i will definitely be going back again......and again. :)

Love nothing more than to hop around Hollywood wasted, happen to drunkenly pass a nightclub off the street and get ushered in without waiting or paying cover by the doormen --- just because of the fine ladies in the group. My only visit here...I was pretty plastered by the time we stepped foot into Mood, having already been juiced up at a bunch of bars up and down Cahuenga Blvd., so I can't recall too much. From what I remember, guest areas weren't very big, but spacious enough for people to move around. I liked how the main bar is directly adjacent to the dance floor, though flagging down a bartender for a drink on a really busy night would take too much effort as it tends to get overcrowded in that area. The "indoor" smoking patio is really convenient and for the most part completely shelters everyone from the elements which is great if it's raining like when I went.

Definitely hipster hotel. I liked when I walked into it, but the actual stay was a terrible experience for me. They gave me complimentary Cabernet, wine glasses, and wine opener, which got it off to a great start. Walked into my room, was pretty swank. Woven straw overhead fan with light. In-room xylophone-ish instrument made of something like bamboo that you could play with. Hip music mags on the table. The place, though, is very old and looks so. So although the room itself was pretty clean, I felt like I had to tiptoe around. However... As I was checked out the bathroom, I noticed a dead insect in the bathtub. That was gross and from then on it seemed my experience went downhill. I was only there for one day/night, and I have to admit that this review may be slanted because I had a terrible day that day. However, what I do know is that as I was about to turn in after a long day, at about 1am, I hear loud party music and boisterous people right outside my window (which btw can't close all the way... They're weird glass blinds... I've never seen those before). I realize now that it was probably from the bar right next to my room. Either way, silence didn't come until 3 hours later at 4am. I was cranky as fuckin' hell. Complimentary breakfast was great, though. Yummy strawberries, bagles, apples, and OJ. Also, the hotel is in an area of high crime so don't leave anything in the car, and the parking lot is tiny. Overall, this really was not worth the price, and I felt like I was more in a 1 or 2 star hotel, not 3 or whatever it's advertised as.
