It may be a giant bridge and tunnel warehouse but the FOOD is delicious. the rooftop is fabulous - a one of a kind SF venue. it's also an especially good place for big groups. 4 stars because it's awesome but not exceptional. It's exactly what it looks like. EN-joy folks!
by Anjali M. on Jillian's is a pretty fun sports bar...and a good place to have a happy hour if you work in the Financial District. The appetizers are tasty, though the items are pretty common "bar food". One thing that I like about Jillian's is that there are tons of big screen tv's everywhere...not to mention the place, itself, is pretty large for a bar. While I wouldn't rave about the drinks, the atmosphere is definitely prime for kicking back with a beer in hand (they have a wide selection of beers on tap) watching a game or two. Keep in mind, Jillian's does tend to get crowded if a major game is on, so make sure you stake out a spot there early...
