Once inside, you are escorted by a half-naked chick to some bar upstairs where you cant hear anything or see anything due to darkness and loud music. Drinks were $20 bucks each. Glass of soda was $15. no lie. the crowd was really old and not-attractive. left after 15 minutes.
by j c. on My frinds will give me grief for talking up this place but who cares, i like this place. Unlike most places i go the H/H's here are great, it does have it's up/downs though so it depends on what you're looking for. "if" you're looking for a casual place to have a couple of beers after work, then say no more, this is the place, but be warned... once it get's dark it does get crowded w/meat market shoppers, hahaha. Just keep in mind that "if" you're looking for a swanky-trendy bar, this is NOT the place, go to 4th/5th, you'll have more luck there at the martini bars. I would describe this as your average joe kind of place, a decent place to start off an evening & "if" you don't mind being shoulder to shoulder w/just about everyone in the bar at one point or another, then you'll have a great time. But "if" you're not up to feeling other people rubbing all on you, it's still a great place to hang out, just leave before it gets dark. The staff,...... Now i have to be honest, taking into acct all the bars/clubs i've visited here in A-town, by far one of the finest staff. even when they are super busy, they still take the time to smile while taking your orders & if you go regulary, don't be surprised if they begin calling you by your name. Great place, i totally recomend it.

I was sooo looking forward to this - it was more than half empty when we got there at 11pm and we paid $50 pp. which made sense since it was nye supposed "seismic" nye theme was ball dropping in times square..bull$*&%...boring music...dj seemed high kept spinning the same jam for the entire duration while we were there. needless to say, we left at 11:35 and had far more fun on the embarcadero in front of the ferry building watching fireworks over the water... in short, happy new year and DON'T GO HERE..its overhyped
