Went to Sullivan Room for the first time on new year's eve and LOVED it. It was a $20 party, lots of fun and sexy people, the bouncer was suuuuper nice and so was everyone in the rest of the staff. This girl that tagged along with my group was being such a miserable bitch and giving the bouncer crap, and instead of getting defensive with her, he decided to nickname her "Aggression" and just tell her that she must be having a bad day and there's no need to take it out on him. Very cool guy. The dj's were awesome, the dance floor was packed but not too packed. Drink prices were normal nyc price. We got a table and had an awesome time. Definitely going back again.

If you're into crappy electronica, REALLY overpriced cover, and the most xenophobic saturday night in LA (saturdays are called avaland, which is short for asians that are very assholy...land), this is the place. I can't give it a terrible rating though, because its a big joint with lots of people, some of which are cool. The price is just ridiculous though for a "meh" experience. Getting in is pretty easy too. A good backup place if your plans fall through.

The crowd is mixed and usually mid to upper 20s on average but I've definitely seen the older crowd here get their boogy down to some house music upstairs. Usually no cover, the times ive been there on friday and saturday. Drinks arent extravagantly priced, and they have champagne cocktail specials! Downstairs is a cave which also has a bar and the tiny dancefloor. If it wasnt painted white, I'd be looking for the batmobile, bats, batman, and perhaps his loyal servant. Cons for the cave: made some people feel claustrophobic, can definitely smell something funky sometimes down there, WOW DOES IT GET HOT DOWN THERE, the bathrooms are down there also and the lines spill into the dance floor soemtimes. Pros for the cave, the walls are cool enough to absorb some heat, theres some dark areas, where u can cleverly go make out with some girls (once again I dont partake in this kind of activity).
