absolutely love this place! great venue, great mash up music, awesome themed parties, not ridiculously expensive drinks, and a great assortment of people. no one is overly pompous or stuck up, and people are generally friendly. love it because it is like 50% gay 50% straight. there needs to be more places like this in SF. the cover price isn't great ($5 or 6 before 1030 and $12 after) but the place is open till 330am so it's not a bad deal.

The food here is pretty good, id say its probably a top 4-5 ethiopian resturaunt in atlanta (Desta is definitely the best). I have eaten here about 7-8 times and have always had good experiences. But... A few weeks ago i had a taste for a smoothie, so i put smoothie king into my navigation and the one right beside moya popped up. i got there and the smoothie king was abandoned. i had to use the bathroom really bad so i walked into Moya to use theirs (since i have eaten there pretty often), and the lady tells me that i couldnt use the bathroom because i wasnt a customer!! i really had to use the bathroom, that kinda sucked. i explained to her why i randomly walked into Moya and how i had eaten there many times before and it didnt matter. so yeah that was probably my last time going to Moya unfortunately... didnt really feel the love. (i would also add that there was nobody in the entire restaurant but that might be a low blow) :-(

This is one of my regular weekend spots in NY. If you're in town for a few days or want to explore more of NY, this is definately worth checking out. Restaurant -- I've only been here for Sunday brunch, which is probably one of the best times to be at the restaurant. Not too crowded, and if you're in the greenhouse, its a nice view (and usually warm). I tried the omelet with goat cheese and lox. Big hit! Club: It definitely gets a bit crowded after 1. You don't need to pay cover, but sometimes they give you a hassle getting in unless you have a good guy/girl ratio. Drinks are pretty good, and reasonably priced for being at the edge of the meat packing district. Some will complain, but I think the music is pretty good. Anywhere that plays enough MJ is good with me. And in the worst case, you can always get a bottle at Lotus ...
