Not sure what music the were playing when I entered around 1:30, but had to leave in disappointment. It even looks real Saturday Night Fever like with that huge stupid disco ball just waiting to land on someones head and probably send them back to the BeeGees.

Great bar and cool ambiance. Met a few friends here for some beers and had a good time. I loved that the original stained glass was still there and dug the pillars out front. The waitresses were awesome-funny and super cool. The DJ was a bit snarky-when I requested some Beyonce single ladies for an impending dance-off, he promptly told me he didn't have any Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Brittany, etc. Ok-settle down now. But ya, besides the DJ, great place. Also love that yingling is so cheap there!

When Ed Bacon came down from upon high at Fairmount Park, he brought with him a two stone tablets containing the plans for The Gallery, a suburban shopping mall that would completely cut off Market East from the surrounding neighborhoods, would feature Foot Locker after Foot Locker after Foot Locker and would eventually be anchored by such great shops as K-Mart, Pay/Half, HealthPartners and an office building. In addition, movie posters from such films as "The Contender" would remain on the wall for years, delighting those cool enough to venture into the Gallery's upper floors. There would also be a women's gym of some sort in Gallery II, but those upper floors would remain ghost towns. It took a while to get Edmund Bacon his dream, but it appears we have finally honored his life by doing so.
