So, after visiting their website we planned a trip from San Diego to LA for a birthday weekend bash. The website says you can get on the guestlist through Wednesday of the same week, but when we called on Wednesday we were told the list was full and even though we are travelling from out of town, they refused to work with us. Majorly lame. Look forward to checking out another venue and spending our money there. Wish their marketing people would have posted this info on their site (that the list fills up). Did I mention how utterly lame?

The LOOK: Very nice. It has tri-levels and nice decoration. The DRINKS: They were ok, like any other club - they get you drunk, but of course overpriced. The MUSIC: The few times I've been it has been "A-OK". The house room played the same music and the "hip-hop" room was totally off and played the same songs within the same hour (weird!). The CROWD: Maybe I'm getting old, but I was hit on way too many times by overly drunk men and I'm not down with viewing people dry humping on the dance floor.... Take my review as you'd like, but I'll probably be staying away from Temple unless I go for dinner and try their restaurant. Wait for that review!

I went for prix fixe Valentine's Day. It was a very nice and mellow atmosphere, not crowded. The menu was nice, but not for everyone (oysters on the half shell - yum!). Champagne, soup, some beet thing with corn, tuna tartar, dessert.... it was a nice meal. I can't say anything about the night life or bouncers or other things that others have mentioned in their reviews, but if you are considering going for a nice meal on a holiday, I say go for it.
