by Hector R. on Great sound system but overpriced drinks. Usually awesome DJs but shitty fake people that troll Hollywood on weekend nights, which is really to be expected. I say its a good place and would be an awesome place depending who you go see play there.
by Marne S. on The lychee & pineapple martini was ok, their gin & tonic was a little better. The music in the smaller room was a lot better than the main area. I thought the place was pretty average. Not bad but not spectacular. the highlight of the night was this girl who was freaking out about finding her purse bec. a bunch of sailors, er men in uniform were leaving and she was after them.
by Georgiana Winterton on The people who were sitting in the audience obviously were not there to enjoy the music, but just to be at a club. Gross. I hate you people. If you come to listen to music, please listen to music. Don't carry on a conversation about blah blah blah when someone is singing. The wait service is very slow. It's much quicker to get up and go outside to the bar and get your own drinks. Um... how is it that a jazz club doesn't have a scotch list? Huh? I mean, it's cool that you've got sake because you're Japanese and all, but the Japanese drink scotch and whiskey as well. I don't get it. Erm... so, while I won't be running back here, I did have a great time going to see a performer I love who made my eyes tear up. Yeah, I know, I'm a total sap.
