Came here for Halloween and the place was pretty lame to sucks as a lounge/dance club. It's just way too small a venue, the bartenders are so damn slow, and the dj is not very good. Maybe the dinner is better or so the other reviews say...

I love the atmosphere at the Edison. I've been here only on Thursday nights and all three Thursday's I've spent there were a big hit. I absolutely love Big Willie's Burlesque show. The dancers moves are phenomenal. The music is great. The venue is a 20's theme, so when you walk in you seriously feel like you're in a movie set in the 1920s. It's quite fun--especially when there's a lot of people dressed up in 20s attire. Make sure you are dressed up. They look down on people who wear jeans, sneakers, or anything casual. The man at the door specifically told my friend who was wearing white denim to not wear denim the next time she comes and that he doesn't care how expensive it is. He was super nice about it, whereas people in Hollywood would have made a bigger deal about it. The guys at the door are very sweet, unlike the ones in Hollywood. The drinks are great, but pricey which is the norm around LA. The bartenders are quick and nice. Parking isn't bad. There's street parking, but it's way too difficult to find parking on the street. There's valet that's super cheap right in front of the alley where The Edison is at. Also, there are a few parking lots around that street that only cost like $3 to park. This place is a fun place to go with a group of people or even with a date. You will definitely enjoy it!

If you like people wearing sunglasses at night (and indoors), some mostly bad 90's hip hop music (although the DJ beat matched and he danced really well), your typical LA cheesy guys, oh and of course over priced alcohol + food, then this is the place for you!!! Bottles of wine are priced 10x higher then normal. Food is nothing special. Vibe is just weird. Management and service just rubbed me the wrong way as soon as we got seated. Just another LA "hot spot" that is over rated.
