However, the downfalls are the: 1) infratstructure - the big fire place thing in the middle of the floor which blocks the front/band/entertainment view; 2) low grade alcohol masked as top shelf cocktails - priced that way too. I mean, if you have to use a certain low shelf brand, remove the labels, disguised the containers; 3) WIC juices, I mean, it seems as if the staff shops by the local grocer - which is cool; very...! Just put the stuff in commercial utensils/serving ware; and, 4) service is slow... But, I like this place; you have to have to visit - it's the best live music spot in the Southeast, Atlanta particularly...
by Kevin P. on The food is fun and fresh. My favorite are the Tavern Chips - a much more exciting version of nachos. I love the chinese chicken, thai chicken, BBQ chicken, cajun, and southwest chips. They also have great sandwiches. I recommend all the Po'Boys and the spicy shrimp baguette. The creole shrimp salad is delicious. While the food is great, the music on the patio is not the greatest. Ask to sit inside.
