by Cynthia N. on I've been going to MJQ from when it was free before...ummm I can't remember. But I only started paying to get in last year! I love the vibe, the music, and the drinks at MJQ. I usually go on Friday night to take advantage of the late night hip hop energy. In the past, my only gripe about MJQ was the bathroom. I was afraid if I ever would catch some random disease, it would be because I broke down and used the bathroom at MJQ. But wonder upon wonders.....it's been renovated!!!! The bathroom is now a fully tiled, casbah of toiletry cleanliness!!!!! Now there is nothing to hinder my enjoyment of good music, chill people, and nicely inebriating drinks. Woohoo!!!!

If you're looking for mexican-ish food and a pretty good Margarita, then Bienvenido Papi! The best thing that this place offers is a pretty cute interior, outside seating at Atlanta Station for good people watching on a pretty day. Take that back, the guacamole made at the table is pretty good, depending on who's working that day. (psst....tell 'em a bit more salt). If you're thinking it's the same as the one on 8th avenue in Chelsea...no dice. In the end, it's ATLANTIC STATION....who are we foolin' even thinking of being disappointed. You don't go to Disney Land for great SOUL FOOD...so whatev.
by Nelly Dunemann on I first heard about Bootie at Burning Man, the party was so fun that i walked up to the DJS and kissed them...since then i have been to 2 parties in the city at the DNA and it was AMAZING!!! i don't know how i didn't know about this party before. its an all in one party. the house band Smash-Up Derby is on at 11, there is a midnight show, guest DJS and so much more. don't miss it! LOVE ME SOME BOOTIE!!!
