by Shanell P. on Damn Bobby you came correct! I loved the place before I even stepped foot inside, after reading you had spiked milkshakes and margaritas for 4.50....4.50! Any who, I got the Philly burger with fries and the pear cactus margarita. He got the Dallas burger. Both were delicious! Never had a burger so good. Tastes just like a cheese steak with sweet peppers, and onions, but in burger form (makes sense?) It was nice and juicy (medium rare). I got mine with Provolone. The fries were so good with big salt flakes and I got so much! Couldn't finish em. Which surprised me because a few of the reviews here complained about how little they got. Didn't like the sauce it came with but loved the chipotle ketchup. Nice and spicy. The margarita definitely had a good kick for 4.50. Another surprise. And it didn't taste at all like pear, and it was pink. So not sure where the Cactus or Pear part comes in. But the tequila part definitely made itself known ;-) Didn't have to wait on line at all. All the Penn students were busy graduating so it worked out great! Service was quick and friendly. I will be back.
by Yolanda H. on I love Kat's! I go every friday after work. It's a great place to have a drink,listen to good music and meet new people. The owner (Kat) makes you feel like your part of the family as soon as you walk in. If you looking for a good place to chill out instead of sitting in traffic Kat's is the place to go, you'll love it!
by Johnie Villanveva on This and Gin Mill are essentially the same place. Just know that they are the best places in the city to play beer pong. Depending on where you went to college, you can appreciate that. And they've got Sam Adams Cherry Wheat on tap, which is nice.
