by Steph P. on This place is fun to pass by and fun to be in. Has a very 'meat market-ey' feel.' I don't like the cover charge but the eye candy is just too hard to resist. Def a stripper club feel to it but it's not one of those places. People are nice here but it's hard to get service if you're not a beautiful gay man... damn!
by Leia Dunt on The Buddha Bar drinks were pretty expensive ($15 a drink!) but was a cool spot to have a couple drinks and hang out after dinner at the Highline. My drink (the Red Square) was strong... but my friend's (the Black Buddha) wasn't. Sunday night was pretty empty so we parked in the lounge area to have a few more drinks and talk. The ambiance was amazing. The music was good but too loud to have a real conversation across the table. There's nothing like this in the bay - at least I nothing that I have found. It's more themed like Vegas. I loved it! AND... they have SHRIMP CHIPS sitting on the lounge tables!
