Bottomless mimosas? Yes please. The steak and eggs are a must have. If you feel like eating in a club with music blasting on a Saturday morning, this is the place for you.

I came here on a Saturday night, not willingly, and hoping to make the best of it. You can't see this venue on Hollywood Blvd because the entrance is actually tucked away on a side of an alley way. Of course I missed the turn and had to flip around. There was no self parking and valet was $20. If you don't mind a brisk walk on Hollywood Blvd you can pay $10 near the lot over at Geisha House. I'm a chick and I was alone so opted for valet. I get to the club and I walk down some steps, then across this courtyard, then up a lot of stairs and then the rooftop. Imagine being drunk or in tall heels or drunk while wearing tall heels and walking through that obstacle. I put my head down and shake my head. So judging the club alone I can see potential of a good club because of the rooftop. The club inside was bigger than normal Hollywood clubs but definitely not as glamorous as the rest. The music was the typical top 40 tracks and the crowd was mixed. When I say mixed I don't mean ethnicity. This was where the night went downhill. The crowd consisted of mainly Asians. You have the preppy Asians, fobby Asians, pretty/handsome Asians, x-smalls that should be wearing medium/large Asians, the 'omg there's a skinny blond white girl here, oh wait she's Asian' Asian, and of course the one that I encountered, the 'I have a height complex but overly confident and ghetto so I will shank you if you don't like me' Asian. I'll make this short. Ghetto-un-fabulous walked up to me and asked if I thought he was cute (I had to look down to talk to him because I was that much taller. I don't care about height and I love meeting new people but if you come up to me with an attitude and super cocky you will get a slappy comment). I paused and said, "You're just not my type." He goes off saying, "How can I not be your type. I go to the gym everyday. Look at me. I have a bid d**k, it's dirty but it's big." What the Eggs Benedict did you he say?! I would have gone off on him but like I said before he was ghetto and he looked like the type of guy that was hiding a shank somewhere. I walked away, said all my goodbyes, and went home where it was safe and away from scary smurf boy. Will never go back because of the crowd. Would have been a 3 star but the encounter was too horrendous to overlook. Sorry!

I've been to Bimbo's to see The Cheeseballs (Awesome party band by the way...) and Super Diamond (Bleh) play. Most recently visited this place last Thursday for a Suicide Prevention Benefit - Laughs for Life featuring the winner of Last Comic Standing, Josh Blue. He was just okay, but the venue was worth rateclubsing since I haven't written about it yet. Big stage, good sound system, lots of seating and heavy handed bartenders. My Stoli Vanilla Diet Coke was like Stoli Vanilla and a like a teaspoon of Diet Coke. ;) That was nice, considering the drink itself was $8! Anyway, I would definitely come back to this place for comedy or a show. It's big, yet still has an intimate feel. Parking was kinda tough so maybe next time we'll cab it.
