The reviews here are so mixed I that I feel compelled to say my piece... First of all, a twenty dollar cover for an after-hours club is nothing. Try getting into a place in NYC for that and see how you do. Twenty is chump change, especially when one considers the amount of time that can be spent inside on the weekends. Don't pay attention to the reviews here that talk about when it closes. They're almost all incorrect. The hours are on the website and probably right at the top of this page. I have to call special attention to the fact that when they open saturday evening they don't shut down until four o'clock monday morning. As part of my job, I go into most of the clubs and a good portion of the bars in the city. The staff at the Endup are the nicest people that I've met in any of them. I can't understand why people feel like they shouldn't be searched when coming into a club. One reviewer here actually complained that the staff wouldn't let her bring her pills in! I've been to clubs in Manhattan where they practically do a full body-cavity search, checking the inside of your mouths for razor blades and crazy stuff like that. Yes, they pat you down at the Endup. Yes, they'll check your bags. This is no different than any other major club in the city or even a major concert venue anywhere in the country. Get over it already. There are a few semi-legitimate reasons for some people not to go on most nights. If you're homophobic, or have a problem watching same-sex couples be affectionate in public, then you'll probably be uncomfortable. If you think that clubbing should be limited to the under-twenty five set, then you might not have fun. If you don't like house music, then you might not have a very good time. I say most nights on account of reggae gold tends to be a very straight crowd and there isn't any house music that night. That's the second saturday of every month, by the way. It's fun if you're into dancehall and stuff like that. It's true that the endup, like every other place in the city, does not sell or serve alcohol from two am until six am. That's just the way it is in san francisco. If you don't like it, get involved politically - the solution is not to be found in annoyance with the local bars and clubs. Now, for the good stuff. First and foremost, the staff and security. They will serve you strong drinks. Seriously. They will keep your coats and anything else you check safe and unmolested. Most importantly, they will keep you safe, from escorting people who cause trouble out the door to making sure a spilled drink on the dance floor is mopped up in like ten seconds. The music: If you like house music, this is where to find it. If you like to dance, this is where to do it. Sure, Temple has variety, Ruby Sky is beautiful, Mission Rock looks out on the bay, the Factory packs them in like mad, Public Works can be lot of fun and Mighty throws some amazing parties, but the Endup is consistently solid. There's a reason that one sees plenty of people over 30 at Endup - people who have had experience in the club scene and who have loved house music for a long time know that they'll hear good music there. The regulars: There are so many people that come back weekend after weekend that the place actually gets a sort of neighborhood bar vibe where everybody seems to know each other. The friendliness and good feelings are across races, sexualities, gender expressions and ages. I've lived all over the country and I've never seen anything like it in a club environment. It doesn't matter who or what you are at the Endup. The porch: There are very few places in the city where one can actually sit down with a drink and smoke a cigarette at the same time. The Endup is one of them, and the porch isn't some tiny room that one can barely get in and out of when the place is busy. Literally half the club is the porch. The dance floor opens up to the porch in two places with wide sliding doors that are always wide open when the club is going - on a good night there are as many people dancing on the porch as there are inside! One can also get out to the porch from the smaller room with the pool table and secondary bar. The inside of the wall that separates the porch from the outside is literally lined with cushioned benches and there's also no shortage of tables and chairs. If your party isn't over when everything else shuts down, give it a try. Not everybody is going to love it, but if you love good house music, a comfortable and safe environment and a variety of people so astonishingly diverse as to make the Mos Eisley cantina from star wars appear near-homogeneous then you're probably going to have a really, really good time.

Mangos was my favorite place when I was in Miami for my vacation last year. It's a great place to eat and drink and have a good time dancing. They have different rooms for different types of music and entertainment. Beautiful women, what more can you ask for. People complaining about the place don't like it, because it's a little tacky. Your in Miami, not your boring hometown. People stop complaining and have fun.

place is way overrated. its very small and the dj they had spinning didn't have a good selection. i would rather have listened to top 40. the house room was full of local losers who insisted on taking up the entire room showing off their moves. i didn't think the 80's still existed. other than that, a girl poked me in my eye and every dude there thought he was gansta foh lyfe. never go here
