by Virgil Fabre on A coworker recommended that I go to this new taco/burrito place that just opened a few weeks ago. FAT TACO Mexican Grill is located inside a nightclub (I think it's call Club Envy). When you walk in, it's dark with hardly any lights on, just one big spot light over the bar area where they take your orders. It's not like a regular burrito place where you see all the meats and stuff that they put in the tacos/burritos, instead it's prepared in the kitchen behind the bar. To my surprise, the food was pretty good. I had the FAT CHICKEN BURRITO with the works and my friend had the STEAK QUESADILLA. Both came with homemade tortilla chips, nice and crunchy! There is a Taco Truck parked right behind the building alley, which I've also had, but this was better. So be adventurous... don't let the outside scare you, just walk right on in. Nice people and good food. Enjoy!
by Yohann S. on One of our friends informed us that the place always crowded and it's hard to get a seat. But we went there anyway on a nice Sunday noon after church was done. I'd recommend this place to locals and visitors that never been here before. It's just that great. Very fast, friendly, attentive and excelent service (no we didn't get here drunk our ass off). I won't say it's cheap.. since if you're looking for cheap, you can go to McD next door. I mean.. $7.50 burger, $3.00 onion rings, and $2.00 unsweetened iced tea wasn't exactly cheap. But the food, accompanied by the service, just make it that great. So anyway there were 4 of us. Each of us got different burger. Bobby bleu, Philadelphia, Dallas, and Napa Valley. I'm not sure about my friend's burgers but I enjoyed my Napa Valley Burger very much. It came with fresh goat cheese, watercress, meyer lemon honey mustard. It also came with a side of pickle. My friend who ordered Dallas said that LA was better. She's been here before. I also ordered Beer Battered Onion Rings... I think I should rephrase that.. STEROIDIZE (is that even a word? lol) Beer Bottered Onion Rings. The size of it literally just like a bracelet. It's huge.. (thatswhatshesaid). They served beer but me trying to watch my calories at the same time (dont yell at me :p), ordered unsweetened iced tea instead... I should've ordered them milkshakes at least.. The interior was pretty unique. And.. oh did I tell you about the service? :D The service is that excelent for just a burger place. Love it, love it, love it. Thank you Stan :) This guy should get his salary raised or something because his attentiveness. I will definitely be back to try on different menu.
