by Marg Drenner on I had fun at this place, but it was weird. They let WAY TOO MANY people in. And they charge a $5 cover. They must be breaking some major fire codes and profiting off it. Kinda annoying. Impossible to use the bathroom here. The ginger spritzer cocktail thing is excellent. Dancing here was ok...you have to dance, you have no choice b/c it is so small. As soon as you enter, you are on the dance floor. I think the lack of space makes the crowd overly aggressive. Maybe try it on a non-weekend night. Too chaotic on saturday night for me.
by Joanna P. on I finally checked out this place last night and it was a nice club. I never went to Le Prive and the only other Korean club I checked out was Velvet Room and Le Cercle is much much much better. The music is better, the crowd is better looking (not as fobby or old as VR), and the waiters weren't too aggressive with the whole booking business. I actually came out of the club with my arms attached! We got a room upstairs and it was cozy and very private and we had Crown, of course! And it wasn't watered down! Which was very surprising. Bottles were pretty cheap compared to American clubs.. only $200 a bottle. I'm used to bottles being over $350. Well, since I don't drink Crown (yes, I'm the only Korean person that doesn't drink Crown.. maybe I'm not really Korean....), we went to the bar to get some mixed drinks and THOSE WERE DEFINITELY WATERED DOWN. I had to chug down 3 drinks to feel buzzed so I had to resort to taking shots of Crown =( Overall it was a good experience BUT I'm giving it THREE stars because the valet is HORRIBLE and we had to wait outside for about an hour and a lot happened. First of all, it was raining and everyone is all drunk and wanting to get their cars so there's a lot of pushing and shoving and lots of people were getting pretty aggressive. And whenever a car gets pulled up, the security guard would yell "BLACK BMW, WHITE BENZ, ETC." Ok, come on! EVERY KOREAN PERSON DRIVES A BMW OR A BENZ! They need to have a better system!! And while we were in the crowd, some guy had the nerve to put his hand up my dress so I got very angry and started yelling. And then 10 minutes later, a HUGE FIGHT happens and some guy is on the ground getting his face kicked in. What an experience..... So yeah, giving it 3 stars..
by Justin B. on The aquarium is obviously a popular place in Atlanta. Arthur Blank knew what he was doing when he invested a large amount of money into this indoor habitat for aquatic creatures. I actually got to visit the aquarium when I was an intern with the Falcons at a company Christmas party. I was fortunate not to have to deal with the crowds, which probably would have cost this review at least one star. I thought the best part about the place is the transparent half-cylinder ceiling hallway with aquatic life swimming above. I thought for a brief moment that I was walking through an underwater heaven; then again, maybe it was just the complimentary booze talking. The part of the aquarium where the penguins hung out at was pretty cool too. There is a tiny passage-way that is meant for kids leads to protruding glass dome observation area in the middle of the penguin's habitat. I poked my head up through the observation dome and one of the penguins was standing right in front of me with a look on is face that looked as if to say: "What are you doing dude? Only kids are allowed to do this." Another animal that seems to draw a majority of the crowds out to the aquarium is the beluga whales. They are the by far the friendliest and most sociable mammals with flippers that I have ever seen. When you walk past the window they rub their bottled nose up against the glass and give a kind smile. Well, it looked like they were smiling anyhow. I recently heard that one of the amiable beluga whales passed away recently. I refuse to believe that one of those whale sharks is not responsible. They were always jealous about how much attention the belugas received. If you do get a chance to go to the aquarium, do not pass it up. It is a magnificent spectacle that keeps getting better every year.
