The only way I've been able to reconcile the juxtaposition of super drab Red House restaurant dining area to the super cheery Red House Lounge, is that Two-Face has finally given up a life of crime in favor of interior decorating. For serious, the Red House lounge is woodsy and cute, with great lighting and ambiance. It's cozy inside and has a great patio area outside. I love the lounge. I decided one day to try out the dining area, ya know, just for kicks. And while the service was still great, the experience was completely wanting. We were the only ones dining on the patio, probably in the restaurant, and sat facing a window looking into the lovely lounge. I felt like a street urchin staring into a cottage window of a happy farming family eating a Christmas goose. So, in case you did not get the hint, eat in the lounge. Looks aside, the food here is actually pretty good. The greek salad was a nice standard and the calamari, while it could be crispier, was pretty good too. We tried the sausage pizza which was not disappointing. I think the crust could also have been a little crispier too. So while there was nothing horrible about the food, it wasn't a too exciting either. For me, this place is a safe play when the Homeslice line gets too crazy. And yes, playing it safe is boring, but it also keeps you alive in the event of a zombie apocalypse.

I'm a huge champagne fan, so this was a must stop for me. The layout is pretty nice, but my one big pet peeve about Bubble lounge is the dance floor in the basement. The dance floor looks like an alley way downstairs and it's very hit or miss. I've been to Bubble Lounge a lot, and it's either way to hot and stuffy, with no ventilation. Or it's way too cold with no one on the dance floor with fans blowing everywhere. I think the lay out could be better. Anyways, if you love champagne, come here because they make the best champagne cocktails and they have a great selection. It's usually free to get in and the interior is very nice. Also the crowd is pretty cool, you can actually talk to people on the upper level because the music isn't so loud you're going deaf. My girlfriends and I went this one night and met a lot of new people and had some really cool conversations. Bubble lounge has that type of vibe to it where people are really open and friendly. I don't recommend getting bottle service here. My friend had her birthday party here two years back and it was super pricey. You only get a table for 2 hours at a time, but for every two hours you have to order a party platter or food. So we ended up getting two party platters a long with the bottle of champagne and the other drinks, which really added up. Usually places only charge you for the bottle and you get the table for the whole night. So if you're looking for a good lounge to chill at with your friends, definitely come here. They serve other hard alcohol that isn't champagne, if champagne is not your thing. If you're looking for a place to dance, don't come here.

Depending on what youre looking for, this place can really be amazing. Ill start off with a warning: This place is not cheap. But the music is always great and they have a nice dancefloor. the decorations are very nice. I especially enjoy the real Bongos they have around the bar, which one can play with once theyve had a few drinks and have lost their inhibitions. The drinks are good and they food is alright. Im no cuban-cusine expert, but I think you can get better quality flan at La Carreta. Its well worth going a little early, having dinner and drinks and then staying for some dancing to burn off the calories. I recomend this place to all my friends who visit, looking for a Latin place to go.
