by Harland Moulthrop on I went to Glo at Ibiza on Saturday night (3rd of May) around 11:00 and of course there was already a line just like every other club. Line went by faster than expected though. It was outrageous that they were charging $20 each person just to get in. The music was not great. They played mostly hip hop and R&B, but DJ mixed it with techno/rock. Lots of old school music also. The crowd is mixed. You share the restroom sinks with everyone. Overall, GLO was just okay, but was definately NOT worth the $20.
by Atish M. on I had a really good time seeing Mark Farina here... I'm usually one who prefers the less fancy and smaller places, but every once in a while it's good to a nicer place. This was it. The decor is very nice and stylish - I dug the white interior in the main room. There's also two more rooms downstairs, slightly grittier than the main room for when you need a break. All in all, a good place for a night out. Only downside was, I remember my friends waiting in line literally 15 minutes for the coat check. There was some mismanagement there. The place was a bit pricey overall on cover and drinks, but that's the tradeoff... I hope to be back
