my dinner experiences at Shout were soon after they opened and food was ok. I just have a hang up about places that serve pizza and sushi. I don't know. Just make up your mind. But my low rating comes mainly because I work in the same building and have given Shout's $10 all you can eat sushi for lunch several chances. It's just a disaster. They only have 6, maybe 7, rolls to choose from. The rice is always dried out. The middles are pretty bland. I compare it to Publix sushi. not inedible, but not that yummy. On two different occasions, my salad was a couple of romaine leaves, but mainly those little "spidery" looking greens that are crunchy and a little bitter. I don't mind one or 2 of those, but an entire salad of it? The servers are just clueless. They always look bewildered no matter if there are 8 people in the room or 60. It always takes forever to get water refills or the check.

The one cool thing about Slide is that you can slide down their slide....if you are wearing denim. Otherwise, I don't think it's worth going here. I thought the crowd was mediocre. I thought the dance floor was small. I also was not a fan of the DJ playing that night. The drinks were okay. I guess I'm biased because I've been to better clubs in SF. But if you are not interested in paying cover to get into a club, then Slide is the place to go. But not paying cover, has its price sometimes. I guess it just depends on how picky you are about your clubbing experience. If you're looking to have an okay time...come to slide.

Good and cheap. Not fancy. Lots of tvs to watch the game. A pitcher of good beer will cost you $12 and my father, the beer-matitian, let me know that this comes out to about $4 a glass. The menu isn't exactly extensive, but I believe everything is under $3. I think I've got it by memory: hotdogs, pulled pork sandwich, salami and crackers, sausage sandwich. I'll be back.
