Wento to Antik on a Friday night for a friends birthday party. Like many lounges on the Bowery and heading into the LES, Antik was a small skinny long space. From what I can tell, the bouncers did a good job of managing the door, given that my friends had rented out the space for the night. Music was good, but nothing ground-breaking. As Harper said below, when the place got a little more crowded, they opened up a second bar in the side room (accessed through a small hallway). All in all, a fun space to throw a birthday party, but not a place I'd run to for a random night out.

I have been here 3 times and last night was one of the best!!! The bartenders are awesome!!! we ordered a round of martini's and the bartender gave us an extra little cup for the rest of the drink! awesome! They were playing good music too. The bar/lounge area was packed, but snagged some seats They had pool tables and the best ever....a pac man machine!!!!! I love this place!

I imagine coming here after 10pm sucks. The whole nightclub scene is far too ridiculous for my tastes. However, I recently stumbled upon it and realized that they have an amazing happy hour. $3-5 for drinks. $5 for my precious captain and coke. Mmmmm.... Came by last friday around 9pm and it was empty aside from a few regulars and the bar staff. Oh, and the drink was strong. The only reason why it doesn't get 5 stars in my view is because of the club aspect of it later on at night. But the happy hour? 5 stars. Easy. The parking sucks, but I live within walking distance so I dont have to worry about it. Besides, if you're going there to drink you really shouldn't drive anyhow. I digress though. Awesome happy hour. Shitty club. Cheap drinks FTW!
