by Steve B. on Some friends and I were on the guest list for a birthday party and when we got to the door, the girl wanted to charge us guys $15 saying the guest list is full however the ladies are free. As if it was my fault that it was a sausage fest at their club. So we left and went somewhere else. Don't lie and put people on a guest list saying it's free and then charge them at the door once they drive there! So if you are on a guest list and you are a guy, be prepared for a sausage fest, cover charging scam!
by Sandra A. on I agree with many reviewers: Great views of the Hudson River (especially from the front fire boat), overpriced food and beer, with a generally cheesy crowd. The live music was "interesting," I thought the electric slide was for weddings only- but apparently it's a favorite at the Frying Pan. It was a holiday weekend so it wasn't crowded, if it was it wouldn't even get the three stars it received!
