by Miss M. on I didn't pay for drinks when I was there, so I don't know if it was expensive. There are hot bartenders (I swore one was Tila Tequila) but their skills are mediocre at best. As a "pro" I will tell you: looks don't equal talent behind the bar. Not everyone can be blessed with my good fortune. :) The spot is pretty. But, kinda reminds me of the places we had our First Communion parties at. Also, it's not as large as I thought. Doormen were friendly enough. I am just not a club person. I am too old for loud music, "reserved" signs on tables and false pretenses. I prefer dinner and good wine.
by Gatsby Q. on This place is fabulous. I went here for the first time on Halloween. I returned on New Year's Eve. I am now convinced that there is no better way to ring in a new year than being surrounded by jovial, inebriated gay men and fantastically over-the-top drag queens! In the words of my oh-so-heterosexual friend, "this place is like really, really gay." The ladies are friendly, yet sophisticated...and they also put on a damn good show.
by Marleen Gholson on I wanted to like it more, but the food was just ok for me. The atmosphere was interesting and it was fun sitting in the swing chairs overlooking the dining room. It seems like it would be fun to go with a group and get some light appetizers and fancy (10 dollar) drinks. I thought it was a little overpriced and there are plenty of other nice places in the neighborhood that I look forward to trying out.
