I frequent a lot of the clubs put on by Friction and Go Production and I have to say that I'm really liking the fact that we're moving away from the Hollywood scene because parking is a bitch there. Yeah downtown is more bum invested a bit mire dangerous if you're walking a lone but who does that while clubbing? Plenty of free street parking come in groups! The club itself is pretty nice minus the cramped corner smoking area downstairs and the bathrooms that are way too far away from the dance floors. The music was awesome, played everything from pop to rock to house and back...in a seamless transition. Now if only this place had good drinks. The bar tenders all don't seem to know what portions or ingredients to use. Um if you're making an electric lemonade why would you use cranberry? Makes the thing taste like cough syrup! So the Pros are: Plenty of parking, good music, and friendly staff. Cons: Small smoking, bad bathroom location, and horrible drinks!! Well I'm not returning again...unless it's with cool people.

Came here on a Saturday night to watch some UFC action! Guess I'd label it your "typical" SF Irish bar w/all the interior accoutrements and wall ephemera. They do have a good selection of UK brews on draught, along with some Carlsberg. The bartenders are cool and quick on their service. Probably one of the better places in the city to watch UFC and get bent at the same time. Too bad Chuck Liddell lost. :-(
