by Ceci C. on I went for the Devils Playground Burlesque Show on Saturday at this venue. Yes this place was hot and sweaty! Hot Burlesque dancers and a sweaty audience. They do need a better AC system. The Bar's decor was a beautiful Victorian/Moulin Rough style which I just love! Which is going to make me come back for more! Drinks where not bad and the bar tenders wore lingerie which was awesome. This place is a bar so expect to be standing during the show. Unless you show up really early and stand in line to get sitting. Take a coat especially in cold weather because you will be on that line for a while. But underneath wear something skanky because your gonna get hot! We stood by upper level balcony which offered a good view of the stage. The Burlesque show was cool I even won something in the raffle and the person that I went with got a sexy beating from all the burlesque dancers he loved it!
by anni b. on Went here post work on a Monday night and come 9:30, our group were the only people left, which I found kind of lame and depressing. Drinks were fine, I guess, but what I had a problem with was the atmosphere. I has the feel of a dark, Irishey pub dive bar, but it feels like a total facade. Not authentic in the slightest. There is a huge shortage of bars in this area, so go here if you must. Especially when Antarctica has been closed by the health department and Sway doesn't open till ten.
