Sure it may take a while for some of the food to come out. Sure it leaks from the ceiling when it is raining outside. BUT come on! Have you had the Hawaiian Chicken sandwich! This place is amazing. The food is delicious, and always prepared just right. If you don't get the Hawaiian Chicken sandwich I was just drooling over, you have to try the chicken strips (either flavor). So tasty. Parking is very close, but I hate it when I have to leave my key with someone (just a personal separation anxiety issue I am working through). As an added bonus - there are tons of sports on if there is a game you want to catch! I come at lunch frequently, and always leave very satisfied :)

Probably the best burger in Phoenix in my opinion. They use grain fed beef, which is a plus. Their sweet potato fries are great too. Delux is open until 2 although I've only been there for lunch and dinner. This place is always busy it seems. I went at three in the afternoon and it was still packed. The decor is hip and the waitresses were very nice and welcoming. Check it out!

I've been to this venue once for a Neko Case concert, and most recently for Sharon Jones and the Dap kings, whom if you haven't heard a whisper from, I implore you to go out and find her funkified sound. Bimbo's is seriously old school. It's old school in that it has an actual bathroom attendant, Rat Pack style seating arrangements, and what I like to term "The Shining" interior design. You recall that scene where Jack Nicholson's character is conversing with the ghost who used to be the hotel's bartender. It feels like that, but the uniforms are more Love Boat than anything else. Now that I've actually verbalized that in writing, I'm creeped out by the notion that it could resemble a horror film that scared the bejeezus out of me. But then again, I'm easily creeped out. The rest of the staff are courteous, efficient. The drinks aren't bad, but didn't particularly stand out either. The dancefloor itself gets quite crowded, but it was particularly appropriate for Sharon's act which was raucous and fun loving. I especially liked hearing Neko live there as her haunting voice works wonderfully in that environment.
