SWANKY. I'm simple girl. Just want to get my groove on and have a good night with the girls. So when I first walked in I was blown away. The place looks great and I felt like a super bum, but they let me in wearing jeans and a tight t-shirt. so I already love them. The bartenders are HOT! And super sweet which is something that doesn't go hand in hand very often. They coat check girl is a doll. We stake out a spot on the dance floor and get down to business. I enjoyed the Biggie and Mariah mix and he even mixed in Journey. Right before we left around 12 he started playing some weird house shit that no one could dance do. I ended the night dancing with a guido named Mark who started fist pumping. Thanks dolls, I'll be back.

Who put the iPod on shuffle??? I was excited to walk by and see this place open again! But alas, the music playlist went from Bon Jovi to Kelly Clarkson to the Jackson 5 to the Black Eyed Peas, all within the same 1/2 hour. Ugh. The music needs a major makeover. And the stuffed sturgeon to the left of the bar is a strange decorating touch. On a Saturday night, I expect to see a reasonable crowd in a bar, especially on a Saturday night. But this spacious place was sadly empty. Perhaps the music mix and the sometimes $5 cover (depending on the bouncer's whim) probably didn't help attract a crowd. The major plus was that our group of 8 had no problem finding tables to sit at 11pm on a Saturday night. And the drinks were pretty good. And we could actually talk and hear each other. This place has so much potential.... But, OH, the music and the cover charge have got to go!!!
