So tonight was not a club...thank goodness never noticed the giant champagne bottles before...wow! thanks to Groupon we got 4 Cocktails 1 Brie w/ smoke duck with fig jam grilled cheese (always avoided duck til now...it was like prosciutto...Delicious!) 1 Upside down cheesecake ( two scoops of cheesecake mousse sprinkled with crushed graham crackers) 1 Ice Cream sandwich (pizzelle waved cookies w/ chocolate, passion fruit, and pistachio sorbet) Cookies were forgettable but loved the Pistachio sorbet! Pricey...but definitely worth a try.
by Christopher P. on Good job Top Flr. Nice place to dine, especially during the cool spring nights. For me, this place is great for starting out your evening with great wines and appetizers. We had the Rioja Tempranillo with the tuna tartare crispbread (very well executed) and the lamb skewers (dressed with baby arugula and a very unique sauce that had a bit of tumeric in it... yum yum). The entrees were cooked to order and were good... but not unbelievable. -Great wine and cocktails -Great appetizers (this will be my pre-Fox Theatre spot) -Great aptmosphere -Go somewhere else for entrees -Ended the night at The Glenwood for dessert.... look at my review for it.
