I love this place. Yes, the decor is really bad. But the food is great. And it's a fairly inexpensive meal. There was a point where I got into a routine of going once a week. I crave the chips and salsa if I don't go for a while and the elote is so yummy. I'm so glad I only live a few blocks away. It is definitely my favorite default place when I'm looking for a quick, cheap meal. I have to admit, I've never been there on Taco Tuesdays though. I'd rather have to pay the extra dollar and not deal with the fraternity shitshow.

We celebrated my girlfriends birthday at Trinity a couple of weeks ago. We planned ahead and reserved a table in VIP. The organization and set up for our group was unbelievable, first class all the way! The security guys are not your run of the mill meat heads, they are professional and exceptionally respectful. Our server, Shannon was amazing! She let us keep separate tabs throughout the night! Yeah!! No "who paid for what" at the end of the night. Well worth every penny spent! I read some of the other reviews and was surprised by some of he negative comments. Trinity is probably one of the largest dance clubs in town. I'm not sure if these people have ever been to Vegas, but the good clubs don't get going until pretty late and they have big crowds because the music is great. People complain if a club is too busy and they complain if it's too empty. Trinity is a popular busy club, get over it. We would all definitely do it again! Great time!! Oh, PS, when we left the club my girlfriend and I hit the hotdog stand outside the club. A homeless person came by to hit us up for change. One of the Trinity security guys came over to check in and make sure we were not being bugged. I don't know another time that ever happened to me when I left a club!

So, I was looking at the distribution of the places that I write reviews about and noticed that I really "like" everything that I eat, do and enjoy in the places that I live. And, I like to share it with others... Well, Busby's (east) is definitely in the "I've experienced better" list of locales. I mean, there are even better bars in the area... St. Nicks to name one off the top of my head! I've gone to Busby's for a few different events and when its not full of the people that I came with, it, well, sucks. The crowd is strange and unfriendly. The music isn't very good, and they tend to have weird quizzes some nights. Also, the cover charge is ridiculous for the fact that its always empty! I would say go somewhere else.
