by Emily K. on This is the second time I've been to OMK. Both times the staff we pretentious. My meal was good, but the other dishes I tried at my table we not very flavored. In my opinion, you shouldn't have to salt a $20 dish. Definitely done trying to give this place chances.

I've been wanting to check nightlife at the academy for over a year now & I was lucky enough to go with a close group that happened to have Friday off, other than myself. As everyone else has said, buy your tickets online! We didn't get there until 8 or 8:30 & fortunately there was no line to get in! This place is pretty awesome. Just bring several of your close friends, have a couple drinks, & explore. Definitely something different to do if you are looking for alternatives or new things to do.
by Isabella Blassingame on The idea of drinking on the water and relaxing is great, especially in new york. But the reality of the frying pan is that you need to score a good table in order to enjoy this. I came with three other friends, and we nearly got stuck on a table with no shade, very close to the stage during Bahamas Day where the DJ just kept shouting from the stage. Not too pleasant. But one of my friends scored a table a bit further away, with shade. We then proceeded to stake out for over two hours. I can't imagine what it would've been like if we'd had a different table. Food-wise, the clam bake dish was meh. Mussels were fishy, clams were the best, but everything got cold quickly and made it less appetizing. We also scored two shrimp. If you want to eat here, I'd go with a burger or a hotdog. Oh, and the garlic/old bay fries were TASTY. White sangria was good, but general drink portions are small. The bloody mary was all right, and the pinot grigio was ok. Again, not blown away here. I realllly should've gotten a beer and burger... next time!
