The décor reminds me of New Orleans ~ a huge roman statue in the middle of the dining room, red chandeliers, brick walls ~ the food & drinks are also Creole inspired... Tips: Make a reservation Grab a drink at the bar before dinner Bottomless wine is offered for about $20 Check out the downstairs market for fresh pastries Use your ScoutMob - expires 2/12/2011 My most recent trip to Parish: I started with the Bee's Knee's cocktail ~ gin, honey, and lemon & lime juice ~ it was sweet but not too sweet with a strong kick! For dinner I had the Acorn-fed pork with butternut squash... apparently the pork is a big deal because the only get it twice a year! Dinner was delicious & savory, this could have easily been split with someone considering the portion was huge! Looking forward to a return trip ~ I definitely want to check out their brunch!

It was like COOCHIE HEAVEN. oOochi-wali oo-cha-bang-bang. Not a good bang either. LMFAO. The reason why I'm giving it 4 STARS because instead of being a DANCE CLUB it was more of a COMEDY CLUB to me. Well more of a FREAK SHOW/CIRCUS hahaha there were little mexican lesbian midgets freak dancing some mexican looking urkel with glasses. (not literally midgets but the bitch was 4'1) She kept eyeballing me and freak dancing, like she was trying to "seduce" me or somethin' but i was just getting NAUSEATED watching her bounce around hahahaha at first it was funny so me and my bestfriend TJ kept laughing @ her and then i started to feel sick so i turned away. THEN,. there was this 45yr old tall ass mexican mom wearing a black beater with librarian glasses doing the cha-cha to every FUCKIN song. Bitch are you serious? This aint LA VIDA LOCA, it's the cafe bitch! Then there were these other bitches who I mistaked for bob marley because they had long ass dreads that whipped me in the face and one had a thick ass mustache. THE FUCK? THEN in the smoking area some girl with 3 ponytails (one sticking out from the top of her head then two pigtails on the bottom) creeped up behind me and scared the shit outta me looking like COOLIO and SHIT. Damn bitch, 3 ponytails? Forreal? i think she was missing a tooth too either that or her front tooth was just BLACK AS SHIT and i couldnt see it hahahahahahaha. OH DEAR. OVERALL, weird night. but very very very entertaining. I'd come back again to build my self-esteem. LOL
by Ricky Prophett on I've been here twice for dinner. The first time I ordered my favorite fried octopus dish and it was a step down from Continental in Olde City. I decided to give this place another shot. I don't remember what I ordered but again, I was let down. I haven't tried their squirts (my fave drink) but I hope their drinks are better than their food.
